01The short version
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to make the site work and to understand, in aggregate, whether it is any good. We do not run advertising cookies, we do not build profiles of you, and we do not sell anything to data brokers. Anything beyond the essentials only runs if you say yes.
02What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, which works the same way from your point of view. We use the word "cookies" throughout to cover both.

These make the site function. They do not need your consent, and you cannot turn them off without breaking the site.

Analytics — only with your consent
If you accept, we use privacy-respecting analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. We configure it to anonymise IP addresses and we do not use it to identify individuals.

Advertising
None. We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies. If that ever changes, we will update this page and ask you again before setting a single one.
Embedded content
Our film is hosted on our own domain and sets no third-party cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which processes your IP address to serve the font files. Booking a call opens [Cal.com] in a new tab, where their own cookie policy applies.
04Your choices
When you first arrive we ask you to choose. You can pick Essential only or Accept all, and neither choice changes what the site does for you in any way that matters.
You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent is exactly as easy as giving it.
You can also control cookies in your browser directly. Blocking all cookies will break the dashboard sign-in and the checkout. Instructions for common browsers:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies
- Safari: Settings → Safari → Advanced → Block all cookies
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Most browsers also send a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal. We honour Global Privacy Control as an objection to any non-essential cookies.
05Legal basis and more information
Strictly necessary cookies are set under Regulation 6(4) of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003. Everything else is set only with your consent.
Where cookies involve personal data, our privacy notice explains how we handle it and what rights you have. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
Before you publish this
Fill in the analytics row with the tool you actually use, or delete that section entirely if you use none. Verify the exact cookie names your live site sets by opening your browser's developer tools on secondwind.careers, because listing cookies you do not set is as much of a compliance problem as omitting ones you do.
